We are one of AKC’s top breeders of champion dogs, producing high-quality dogs in all three colors. They are purebred AKC registered and come from a champion bloodline. Their great-grandfather is Blue Ryder. He is a famous lab with many titles, such as field champion, junior hunter, and master hunter. He was the test dog for the ESPN Great Outdoor Games Retriever Series 2003. A champion bloodline that always produces highly intelligent, trainable dogs.
We have been breeding for 27 years. Breeding dogs has been a passion of ours for many years. It has been part art, part science, and total devotion. We are knowledgeable, responsible dog breeders who devote time to each dog’s, health, and training. We start with the idea of the official version of the “perfect” breed specimen and start with that as our reference point for breeding the perfect labrador retriever. Our motto for responsible breeding of purebred Labs is “Breed to Improve.”
Everyone’s dog is the best dog in the world to its owner. However, we know to avoid “kennel blindness.” In other words, we take a step back and honestly evaluate the good and bad points of every dog before making the decision to breed. We look at each dog’s lineage for many generations assessing all the qualities of its pedigree. Our goal of dog breeding, after all, is to produce a better dog and a quality pet. Therefore, we examine each dog carefully. Recognizing its qualities. If we decide to continue with the breeding process, we look for a mate that will enhance or balance those qualities. When we choose a dog to breed we test it against others dogs of the highest quality so that we are confident that all of our dogs measure up against the best specimens of the labrador breed.
